Hi Forum,

It’s been a while since I’ve contributed on here, but it made sense to ensure this audience has a chance to see the vehicle also, seeing as this is where I got a lot of my early knowledge from.
I’m now selling my Zed due to personal circumstances, and it will be a massive regret I am sure!

This is an excellent Z4 (my second) that I’ve owned for 7 years now. It’s never gone without any work required, and it’s had a lot of preventative work done to ensure that it’s good to run for years more. The car comes with 12 years of service history, and I have detail of all the work done under my ownership (20k miles in 7 years) I have one service receipt from prior to my ownership, and some partial detail from BMW dealership via their service system. (dates and mileage of visits).
During my ownership, when it’s not been out on the road, it’s been stored with the battery on a trickle charger. Location, Peterborough. £7,250

Details are:
2007 BMW Z4 3.0Si Sport.
Silver grey
63k miles
MOT until April 2025
224 style genuine M Alloys
Uniroyal Rainsport all round, 9mm on fronts, brand new on rear

Nice car, looks in good condition and well cared for too, I like the chrome finish alloys too, good time to advertise now we are in Spring.

Apologies. I’ve not been coming back and checking here as regularly as I should’ve been, and I seem to have noticed the PMs, but not the replies here.
Happy to share the work that’s been done,

Is yr car still available, I’m looking for a z4 currently

Hi, apologies just catching up on this. Yes it’s still available. I’ve only just got back in the country today from a work trip, so haven’t been keeping an eye out here, my error! Ask away.

Hi, nice looking Zed 👍 are you able to share some more details about the service history, what’s been done when and by whom?
Thanks

Just shared above, any questions, please ask.

Thanks for the interest.

Looks a clean car, is that the only service history the car has please?

Thanks

Yes that’s correct. Last ten years effectively.

I will go out on a limb here and say if it’s been serviced well for the last ten years and it’s been working fine, the absence of a previous service history doesn’t matter a damn. It will affect resale value of course, but it shouldn’t.

I can only assume this is why it hadn’t sold already. Lovely car, great spec, bargain price for the mileage. GLWTS.

Cheers, yeah, I’m of the same opinion. I even wrote to the previous owner on the V5 as soon as I got the car and he confirmed it got lost during some work being done on his house. BMW had low balled him on the trade in because of it (as you’d expect, as it’ll mean they couldn’t sell it in the dealership), but that it had been really well looked after. You can see the key information if you go to the dealerships - you just can’t get a new service history book.
I’ve not really been ‘on it’ in terms of trying to get it shifted. I’ve only had one guy come for me to take him out for a test drive. He drove 4 hours with his wife to see it, then confessed he’d never been in one before - and he was 6’ 3”!
Said it was a bit cramped but he liked it and he’d get back to me…never did. Next move is AT as I should make more of an effort to see it goes to a good home before the season is out.

Ok so I was on the verge of going to buy this car last week when my bargain montego 2.5 came up around the corner from me.
I feel like I let Richard down after he had been so helpful and patient answering all my questions and texting me extra pictures and videos.
He is selling himself short, as he has data on many dealer visits but didn’t share as there was no specific detail.
I did a lot of diligence on the car myself and discovered that it was looked after by Cooper BMW Croydon (now Berry) for 9 visits from 2009 - 2013 including servicing and MOTs. BMW customer services or berry will confirm this, I called both. I should have asked for it on email and I could have shared it. Because of the franchise change the specific data and invoices seem lost forever.

It was supplied by Sytner Nottingham to a retail customer, so not press or demo, and retailed at £34,540. Including options of, comfort pack, enhanced Bluetooth, factory wind deflector, heated seats.

Everything I have learned and seen this looks like a great car. I haven’t seen it in person and dont know the seller.

I almost don’t want to help this sale as I would like him to hang onto it for me for a year.

There you go, glwts or better still enjoy it for a year and then I’ll have it!
