E85 2006 3.0si recode paddle shifters?

Hi guys, wondering if anyone has tried or knows anything about recoding the paddle shifters on the Z4 auto box.

At the moment both sides front paddle shift down and back ones shift up
I'd prefer and like it to be left side to shift down and right side to shift up.

Anyone know of this is possible and if so how to go about doing it?

Hi,
The paddle shifters are just wired to the gear lever and there is nothing that can be changed by means of coding. Changing the wiring within the steering wheel would be the way to achieve what you describe.
 
Thank you for your response, do you have any ideas what wires need to be changed? Any pictures videos or diagrams would be much appreciated.
 
I don't think this has ever been worked around. I think because the wiring is multiplex it's not that easy.
 
Pretty sure its just rewiring the switches in the steering wheel. Mate of mine rewired his 130i so it was left for down, right for up.

Gotta be loads of youtube videos on it, no problem if you can do a bit of soldering.
