After almost 2 years of ownership it's time for me to sell my car. Looking for something more practical for when I go camping.
It's had its ups and downs but I'd like to think its been an overall happy journey and fulfilled my want of a 2 seater convertible
I've dealt with a few problems during my ownership but I doubt anyone would say their ownership is problem free with cars of these ages.
Here's a list of what I have corrected:
Electronic Power Steering failure was repaired by ECUtesting.com.
There was a battery drain on the car due to a previous owner adding aftermarket CD changer. Since removing this I've not had any power problems.
Starter motor has been replaced as the original gave up.
Other cables issues where the connectors weren't contacting perfectly.
New tyre.
New anti roll-bar link.
Air intake rubber hose replaced due to old one perishing.
Now down to the current problems which I haven't gotten round to fixing:
Oil leak which I've narrowed down to the CCV. Not that expensive for a replacement with new hoses.
Coolant leak under the expansion tank (Common from what I've read) again not an expensive replacement.
Happy to give the the part numbers for the replacement parts.
I've priced the car at £2200 which I think is reasonable for the condition of the car compared to others out there and reflects the cost to fix what the current problems are.
Reason I haven't fixed the current problems are that they just aren't major enough for me to spend the money when I'm wanting to sell the car anyways.
