I have a problem with my Z4, when it has been left for a while (all day or overnight) it won't detect "PARK" or "NEUTRAL" so I can't start it, with a bit of wiggling about (the gear stick not me) it finds it and starts. Is this common? I can't see it mentioned anywhere.
The car has only done 22k miles.
Any suggestions on fixes?
