Hi all,

I've noticed some a little bit of condensation inside my 2003 roadster this afternoon - rear windscreen and passenger side window. Carpets are dry.

In the service history there is evidence of an airbag loom replacement in the passenger door and a window motor regulator (not sure which door). I wonder if there is a broken or missing membrane as a result of those repairs.

What are the most common areas for moisture to enter on a roadster? Any seals or membranes that are particularly weak?

Just have a feel and see if anything is wet. Maybe get under the carpets. Mine is bone dry, sometimes is mists up - that's just what they do it seems!

In addition to feeling under the carpets, try to peek into the roof wells (roof open, with a led torch) to exclude water retention caused by blocked drains.

As above, no good just feeling the carpets. Wind the passenger seat fully forward, get your hand into the gap in the carpet under the seat. The sound deadening material can sponge up a LOT of water before it is evident on the surface. Then check the other side.
