This is a temporary add that will be updated with full details over the next couple of days.

Location is Bitton, Bristol (Near Bath)

EDIT - I’ve also just been told off for advertising a week early, the boss say’s it can’t go until Sunday 28th because we’re on Holiday from Friday until the following Friday - Apologies :D

I know how this site works, I will add comprehensive info and better pictures shortly

Bought this car as a summer project for my Mrs earlier this year, and she loves it but we have two issues. The main one is that she has a daily and a Z4 and so do I, and four cars is a bit impractical for us. In addition, her ongoing treatment means she can only drive one week out of three, so keeping two cars for that is a bit daft.

The aim then is to sell this car now, then sell her daily and buy something to replace both

Let’s cover the negatives first, the roof has now been brought back to life and the motor relocated to the boot, but it is a little slow to go down and sometimes needs a push. Comes up as fast as any other E85 I’ve owned, so we’ve been happy to live with it as it is.

Alloys could do with a referb, there’s a place in Birmingham that do a dip, strip, powder coat and refit balance tires for £35 a wheel, so this doesn’t need to be an expensive job. On this basis, I haven’t even tried to clean them up as it felt a bit futile.

On the plus side;

Massive history, with a big box file of bills covering most of the major things that can go wrong; water pump, ABS unit, GM5 etc.
Comprehensive service history
Excellent specification - Heated red leather MSport seats (manual), Cruise control, Parking sensors, phone kit, MSFW, cupholders. What I believe to be machine-monkey exhaust tips!
No leaks, very clean engine bay, engine smooth as you would expect
Approaching 118k miles
HPI clear

After preparing the car for the MOT it flew through without a single advisory, runs to 29/06/2023.

I’ve had the Differential replaced with a much lower mileage unit, replaced the rear brakes, replaced the windscreen surround with a genuine BMW part.

Apart from the alloys, the car is unrecognisable from the day we took delivery. The paintwork has had a two stage correction, the engine bay has been detailed, the interior has been detailed and the tired MFSW refurbished and replaced with a Royals wheel. I’ve put a lot of hours into this car and I’ve enjoyed it as it’s brought a smile to the Mrs face every time she drives it.

I feel the car is reasonably priced for the forum at £2650, and I’ll give it a couple of weeks here before listing on other websites.

Refreshing to see a sensible price and not the usual 4 * WBAC valuation

Amazing price indeed if anything probably a tad too cheap.

If I wasn't only after a 3.0Si or an E89 id be all over this, this looks to be a great cheap way into Z4 ownership though I must say.

GLWTS although I don't think you'll need any luck and it will sell by the end of the day. :)

Thanks for all the positive comments all.

I think it’s an attractive price, with the aim being to get the Mrs in a car that does the job of her daily and the Z4 in a modest timescale

Hi True Blue,
Where abouts are you based? I've been toying with seeing what roadster life is like instead of my e86 this could be a perfect trial run :D

Can you message me where you're based and the best number to contact you on?

Thanks
Sef

What a bargain. The paintwork looks absolutely stunning. I would be surprised if you could find a comparable Z at this price anywhere. GLWTS.

Yes, will do. I’ll also update the opening post regarding location

I know it's "only" a 2.5i but that looks a real bargain for a facelift with M-Sport seats.

I would say GLWTS but I don't think you'll need it!

Hi True Blue,

I'm really interested in your Z4, can you please message me a contact number, as I can't seem PM you.

Thanks Mr Tidy, you can clearly tell that I'm a little new to this.

Well you have 5 posts now, so I'm assuming you must have bought such a good deal?

I’ve replied to your PM, but the website doesn’t normally email updates on PM’s
