Hi All,

I am looking for a manual facelift E85 2.5i, or 2.5Si or 3.0i roadster (N52 engine) ideally with no more than 100-110.000 miles.

Would be great with the following too:
2 keys
FSH
Heated seats
Working roof motor

Previously written off cars are excluded.

My budget is around £5-6k, I am in London, but I am happy to travel for the right one. I you are thinking about selling please message me.

Thank you
Levente

Hi Levente, my car will be going on Autotrader next week.
Silver E85 2.5i, facelift with manual 6 speed gearbox. 108k miles. Heated black leather seats, parking sensors, wind deflector.

Next week it’s in for a valve cover gasket replacement and fresh MOT.

I have a For Sale thread here: https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=134137

Let me know if of interest.
Cheers
Niall

Hi dell,

Amazing car, thank you for the suggestion, however I am looking for the facelift version of E85.

Regards,

Levi, are you still looking?
Would you be tempted by a black sapphire 2.5si, manual, red msport seats (heated but manual adjustment). 112k, but in the last month it's had all new suspension, EPS motor reconditioned, yaw sensor replaced and loads of other smaller bits done. also has a working roof motor, relocated to the boot.
Let me know if it is something you'd be interested in and I'll send on some more comprehensive pics and details.

An absolute pleasure and I'm glad it's gone to a enthusiastic owner. But I do have to say.......................
:worthless:

Sad news!
Levente had been dreaming of his own Z4 for years. Went home with the 2.5si with the biggest grin on his face.
Then discovered that the car will not clear the steep ramp to the underground carpark where his flat is, and he has no other options open to him.
So it's back with me again, luckily before the V5 was processed this time!
Have to feel for him. He won't mind me saying he was close to tears.
Now I have a dilemma as the missus is away for a month and she is not going to be impressed to see the drive full again when she gets back!

I have a completely unsubstantiated reluctance to sell on the forum. Not sure why, but it seems a bit uncomfortable to me as I've bought a forum member's car, done loads of work to it and want to sell for more than I paid; albeit with a lot of time and money added.
I've put it on Ebay, fb marketplace and gumtree for now.

I can’t see a problem with selling on here, with all the work you’ve put into the cars it’s not the same as just flipping them for profit.
Get an ad up

Agreed. I would say, as a well known honest member that anyone can research, this place should get you 'quality' enquiries without the time-wasters from the usual places. The misgivings regarding a forum car could be seen by many as an advantage IMHO. :)

Appreciate your support gents.
I will put an ad together and stick it on the forum, for a 'forum-friendly' price.

I understand this. I prefer to do business in private without the world looking on. Having said that, I have had an almost universally good experience dealing with people on this forum. Clearly you don’t want to be drawn into a public spat, such as we have seen recently, because your buyer doesn’t see things the same way you do.

Actually, its more that I don't want to offend the chap I bought it from, thinking I'm flipping his car for a fast buck. I fully intended to run it for a few months at least, but the 3.0i I loaned to son in law came back earlier than expected and the understanding with my better half kind of limits how many I can have at once.
So anyway, I have messaged Sidewaze Samm and he's ok with it, so I'll get an ad put together.
