Difficult to explain but here goes.
On a few occasions whilst decelerating on over run with no throttle, (say approaching a junction) when the revs drop to just below 1500 -1700 rpm the revs blip and the car pulls. It's just as though I've accidentally pressed the throttle whilst braking.

At first I thought it was me and my big feet but now it's happened a few more times I've noticed what conditions cause it.
Coldish engine, over run whist braking. What might cause this anti stall type issue.

Whenever I've heard of this issue on other cars it's been known as hunting and has been related to a lambda sensor problem.

I don't know if that's the case with our cars - hopefully someone else might have some experience specific to the BMW 2.5.
