E85 2.0 strut braces

Hi all, safe wishes to you all during this time!

I'd like to fit all round strut braces go my car, and the ones I've found are from UltraRacing. But all 4 strut braces, the only option you can select is 2.5 and bigger.

I was curious to know if they would fit a 2.0 model. I figured the only difference would be the engine one as mines only the 4 cylinder. But I assume the lower braces and the rear in the boot would be the same?

Thanks in advance :)

Hi, well it's a bit sad no-one has answered you thus far.
Maybe nobody knows. If I had to guess, I could see no reason why the braces would not fit as you suggest, but no idea of the engine one, sorry.
I assume these would just be dressing up for effect? Fair old outlay and I doubt you'd notice much different on that model?

Thanks for replying :) yeah I figured they would all fit and maybe the only offer 2.5 and above is because their may not be much point fitting to a 2.0

Yeah your right, I think maybe It would feel slightly stiffer and more rigid with all 4 fitted but predominately, it's just for show and to say it's there lol.

Well no harm in that. :)
But it looks like you may need to trial fit the engine bay one. If it didn't fit you'd probably find a home for it on here, but would not having that one defeat the whole point of it.
Tbh, maybe you just need to look for an engine bay one and forget the rest?

Where abouts are you (in Essex)? I’ve got the white ultra racing strut which I haven’t fitted yet (I’m near Gatwick). You’re welcome to test fit it to make sure it fits? I imagine it does but think most members have a 2.5 or 3.0 hence not many replies...

Only thing to watch for is if the bar covers the oil cap, I know on one variant it does cover it but I can't remember which

I live in thurrock! Right near the dartford crossing bridge, however, I'm not overly confident with doing stuff myself to my vehicles. I assume its very simple to fit one? Just a case of unboltong and bolting on?

Yeah it’s just a few bolts. Like I said welcome to test fit mine... can give you a hand. Just don’t drive off with it
