E70 X5 buying

I am in the process of possibly adding an x5 to add to the family stable- I'm on the xdrivers forum but just wondered if anyone here has any advice/ownership experience?

PVR- any tips?

Think most of it has already been covered on xdrivers, but depending on the age you look it has different impacts. For example, the older models had high and low tax brackets, so have to make sure you get the one produced in a month with low tax bracket.

If looking at newer, you have the LCI model which has other benefits.

But xdrivers is really the place though ...

Thanks PVR- was just seeing if anyone one here had other ideas as I know a few of us have an X5 in the family but may not all be on xdrivers (which is a great forum having read through the 27 pages n the E70 forum.)
