e46 sport seats in e85

I actually prefer the cloth/alcantara sports seats from the 1 series, or the wider ones I had in my e34 M5.

The ones in the Z4MC are such a let-down for what is supposed to be a sports car.

Few sets on m3cutters and bmw Facebook page. Don't buy ordinary e46 because they look shite in person.

Fitted my e46 sport seats a couple of weeks ago. They are more comfortable than the standard seats. They sit a tad higher, but not too much. Seatbelt buckle is compatible. But, I don't know why, I feel the originals are more suited to the car. The e46 seats are more comfortable and look better, but for some reason I still feel the originals were better in the car. Am I mental?

Yes, really agree there. After some fantastic sports seats in my Porker and E90, these are such a let down. Awful for long journeys too, unless you sit really upright and the front part of the seat fully raised.

Did you remember to disconnect the battery?

You may just need someone with ISTA (or a similar utility) to reset it for you.
