e46 seat swap to e85 wiring

I picked up a set of e46 seats. My 2007 had the standard no thrill seats. Looking at the plugs when removed I don't have the preface lift wiring harness. Mine has 4 wires going into both seat plugs only. The M# seats I picked up are full function. Heat, power, Lumbar and memory. I know someone has done this but I can't locate any guides on here (my error I'm sure in search) A guide and advice on plugs and else needed and where to tap in to build the harness I need would be a great great gift at this point. I've looked all over online but I guess not in the right places. PLEASE HELP if you can.... Thanks
 
Wiring diagrams are your friends on this, to figure out the e46 seats and how to tap into the car

Power is easy- a 12v supply to the seat for the movement and lumbar is step one.

Heating is a little harder. You’ll need a set of heated switches (I have a set for sale if needed), a + and - supply to each seat along with a third wire that connects to an earthed thermistor, which detects overheating

Let me dig out my how to guide I did retrofitting heated seats to a non loom car

I also have a set of plugs with some loom that may be of use

The car had non heated M Sport seats which I've refurbished and fitted generic heating pads from eBay to. As they aren't selling I thought what the hell lets pop them back in the car and see if we can wire them up properly.

If fitting factory heat pad seats then there will be additional steps to cut the loom in but the principles will remain the same.

I used this guide here to point me in the right direction...
