E46 M3 Seats

@Courageous: honestly don't have a clue how the air gets in the bolsters. Must be some kind of electronic gizmo that can produce air - it makes a proper airbed like noise when deflating too :)

Heater switches just use the standard switches in the Z4, so you need these fitted in your car. As far as heating, seat movement, bolsters etc. they are all plug and play so no changes required. There are subtle differences for the pretensioners, read through the thread linked earlier. Note I didn't fit the passenger seat so don't know what the seat sensor situation is (suspect possibly similar to pretensioners, may need to swap something over from you car)

@Kev: thanks for the PM. Can give you next dibs for a week starting today, so if I get any more interest I'll either need a deposit from you by next Weds (20th Feb) or will move on to anyone waiting - hope this sounds reasonable to you.

You selling yours then Kev?
yes I have non heated but other than that identical when I bought mine I was led to believe they were heated but were not pm me if your interested
Thanks

Thanks Kev

Based on the week's worth of driving I did with one seat fitted, they do indeed definitely heat but not quite as strong as the standard seats - possibly due to my bad fit ;)

Hi Tim, could I ask for third dibs please? I'm based over near Weston Super Mare, fairly local to you. I'm finding the standard seats majorly unsupportive and uncomfortable and am looking to improve things in that department. I'll be nipping up to Bath tomorrow or Sunday and would love the chance to spend 10 minutes looking at (and most importantly, sitting in) your seats if possible? It would be around 10:00 or 20:00 on either day, or another time if necessary :)

Hi James,
Kev has dibs until next Weds, so keep an eye on the thread and we can talk further at that point if still available.
You're welcome to pop over tomorrow if you're passing, say 11 ish - I'm in Paulton, so your side of Bath. The seats are not in the car but you'll get an idea sat on the garage floor :) and you'll certainly find the bloody things supportive!!
I'll PM some contact details.
Cheers, Tim.

Update for anyone interested: agreed with Kev to let me know on Thursday at the latest if he wants the seats, otherwise James (wonkdonk) will be grabbing them at the weekend
