E46 M3 Seats

For sale, a pair of front seats from an E46 M3 (presumably a coupe, given the tilt handles).

Heated, fully electric including lumbar support and inflatable side bolsters. Passenger seat has under-seat storage compartment. ///M logo on headrests.

Very good condition, unlike the majority you see for sale on Ebay. There is some wear on the driver's seat as would be expected.

Photos attached - the light in my garage is very harsh and bright white, the pictures actually make the seats look worse than they do in real life; they're really lovely.

Bought off this forum in January, spent 5 hours with Gliptone leather cleaner and conditioner and they cleaned up really well.

Looking for exactly what I paid for them as per forum rules - which I thought at the time was something of a bargain, so no offers please.

Collection from Bristol/Bath area BS39 - I could also possibly meet on the M5 somewhere between Bristol and Birmingham, as I travel back usually each Wednesday early evening.

£350

[Brief FYI's: these will bolt straight into a Z4, you'll probably want/need to use your existing pretensioners, you may wish to swap base rails over although the seat belt fixing point can bolt to the floor, you may wish to replace the 'long' tilt handles with the 'short' versions all round, you may wish to buy some seat belt holders which fix to the headrest posts - though I found the seat belts always rested on the tile handle so never had to fish them out)

Yes of course - let's just say they don't fit me very well :)

If you're not a chunky monkey like me, you'll be fine.
ok I understand I have same seats but not heated but funds will not stretch at the moment for me to sell mine and buy yours gutted thanks anyway

Also note - in the pictures, the passenger seat bolsters are inflated, the driver seat bolsters are deflated - when inflated even partially, the wrinkls pretty much disappear and both seats look similar.

Sorry they didn’t work out for you Tim. Being honest it did occur to me you ‘might’ struggle a bit when I was driving home, I don’t mean fat but you’re a pretty big guy aren’t you...!

For what it’s worth to prospective buyers Tim is such a nice chap, was a pleasure to meet him.

Ha, very tactfully phrased John!

Likewise, supremely grateful for you carting those seats all the way to Birmingham for me - very much appreciated :)

I am more than a little gutted, as they look amazing in the car - but the confort factor would mean I don't enjoy long journeys, so they have to go unfortunately.

I did wonder why you sold these John , now its clear :D similar problem as Timmy  :poke:  :D

Tempted is an understatement. Problem is the distance. There might be a way I can get round it but won't know until tomorrow or Tuesday. On that note, would 1st dibs on these be possible until I find out whether I can get them picked up or not?

Good stuff. Will let you know 👍🏻

Hey OP, unfortunately I'm going to have to pass on these :( glwts

Couple of questions - you mention bolsters inflating. Is there a compressor or something? Secondly, are the heater switches fitted in the seat thus negating the requirement to have the switch panel at the ashtray? Finally, is the wiring different to accommodate the above?
