E46 M3 Decat pipes fit Z4M?

I've been after some decat pipes for a while, they rarely seem to come up and at around £400 for a new set from Superprint and similar it's a bit steep for what is essentially 2 straight 2ft lengths of exhaust pipe. Lots come up for the m3 and they look identical, does anyone know if they fit the z4m? I know the back boxes are totally different, but the decat pipes fit before the x pipe (section 2) and as it's from the same engine I'm hoping they fit and I can save myself about £300 quid! (maybe wishful thinking I know). T.I.A.

I've no idea but I imagine the m3 ones to be longer?

they wont fit as the flanges are in the wrong orientation for the z4m..... how annoying

easy fix for a decent welder however.

A custom exhaust manufacturer could do them a lot cheaper than that.

What is the main difference fitting these decat pipes, noise or performance, i take it you remove the cats and fit these pipes in their place, any sound files out there?

Probably more noise than performance but they do sound good! 8)

They drop a little performance below 3k, but then makes it up and adds some over 3k. You'll need a tune unless you can live with a CEL.
