E46 M3 bits on a 2.5i ?

Hi folks, I have a colleague at work who's doing up an E46 M3 as a race car.
If I offered to relieve him of his brakes and anti-roll bars would they fit my zed?

Front arb is a direct swap

I dont think the front brakes will work, unless you also get the kingpins/steering knuckles.

At the rear both arb and brakes wont fit.


I dont know how the car will handle with only a front (stiffer) ARB, if it will upset the balance of the car.
I also use a M3 front arb but I use a stiffer rear H&R arb.

They need a refurb, and not sure if he wants to split the interior. But could be a plan... good shout :)

Ah, good to know that. Brakes sounds like too much faff, but the front ARB could be useful when combined with a H&R rear (I'd not want unequal front/rear...)

seats, steering wheel are direct swap (have them in mine). possibly the front tower brace/engine brace also (got mine from an non-M)
