E46 Longitudinal acceleration/Yaw sensor

I need to replace the longitudinal acceleration sensor also known as yaw rate sensor on my 2007 E46.

The part number for the sensor is 3452 6769174-03.

I have found a number of replacement sensors that are the exact same sensor but with a slightly different part number. The first part 7 digits of the number are the same but then the last 4 differ slightly.

The replacement part numbers that I can find are 3452 6762769-04

Does anybody know if this will work in my car or not?

yaw rate sensor? never heard of it before.

Yeh it measures the pitch of the car. Its so that the hill start assist can recognise when the car is on a hill, amongst other uses.
