E46 BMW 330 brake upgrade - Pad recommendations

Hey all,

I've fitted a bigger E46 330 set up to the front of my car for greater temperature control and stopping power on track but am looking for some pads as mine are getting low.

Can anyone recommend some not-too-pricey ones? Thinking Yellowstuff as i've had good results before but open to better suggestions.

Thanks in advance,

o :)

I had a look at the e46 forums, as technically I've got an e46 in terms of the braking. Everything I read pointed towards OEM because I wanted to maximise performance but still have quiet brakes! Don't care too much for the dust - just an excuse to clean more regularly! :P

I wanted good bite, even from cold as I'm often on the motorway, doing tens of miles before braking, well sometimes!

On the e46 forums I've read good stuff from StopTech and Axxis Ultimates. But on this thread I've heard good info about the Ferodos, so going to give them a go.

Ferodo DS2500s are great pads

Got them on my 330. After 60 odd laps of Oulton Park, i can't see much wear in the pads. Decent amount of dust but boy do they stop with hardly any fade. Although I am running Gulf 1000 fluid and K Sport 6 Pots.
