E39 5 series wheel (8X18 ET20) in front?

The centre bore is different for a start so you need a set of spigot rings.
My Z is sitting on a set of e39 m sport parallels 17 /235 17/255 as we speak ,while my wheels are being powder coated not sure what the off set is but they do not fit at all they stick out a mile on the front the rears are not too bad

Just found this looks like offset on wheels i have is only 15
