Well, the post's in the title. Which o' you good ole boys gonna be usin' snake oil in this here newfangled E10?

Surely it’s easier to just use super unleaded which doesn’t contain any E10? What am i missing here :?

I think you're right, Rob, not least because the additives for E10 seem to cost as much as using Super. That said, there's another voice in my head sayin, 'Is E10 really a problem, or is this just another example of driver anxiety?'

I think it’s been beaten to death but..

95 Ron with E10 is approved for use by BMW and in fact has been used in the USA for over a decade..

99 Ron fuels can come with up to 5% ethanol anyway..Shell Super in the UK declares that.

In low volumes in cars that don’t have rubber perish issues / corrosion issues then the ethanol has beneficial properties..

If it’s a stock 35is then 95 is all you need.

It lists clearly on the sticker that E10 is acceptable and if I remember correctly if your using low quality 90 ron (petrol/water 50/50 lol) its compulsory.... I would go out and look at the sticker right now and take a photo for you all but its fekin freezing so you can swivel xxxx

I haven't seen similar views but I put the first full tank of E10 in last month and thought the car was down on power, ran ok but difference felt like it wasnt in sport mode, which it always is.
Also found fuel cap gunged up and wouldnt come off without a wrestle. Might all be bollocks but not using the stuff again.
Of course I'm now paying a premium for same fuel.
