E 89 dash illumination?

Am I correct in thinking that the seat heating / roof switch panel should be illuminated when the lights are on?,
They were in the E 85 .
I've owned the car a while but am I just not observent?.

I will try looking tonight but I am not sure ... the seat heating light comes on when you press the button as you have the option of 3 settings.

Mine do light up. I just checked. My lights are always set to auto. In a dark garage, unlocked the car, dash, seat buttons, roof buttons all illuminated. 2015 car.
