Having had strange feeling from the power steering for a number of months (feels like power steering is increasing and then decreasing) I have checked the output from my steering angle sensor. It seems to "jump" in out put quite significantly during turning of the wheel. To the left (ACW) it shows a steady incease from zero +ve figures . When turning CW through straight ahead position, It suddenly jumps to around 1400 for a brief period then changes to a high -ve value.
See attached video I have taken of the diagnostic reader output. Suspect sensor is defective but there doesn't seem to be a fault code to back this up.
Any previous experience any one?
