My photo driving licence was up for a photo renewal, and because I've seen all the horror stories about the DVLA losing things, I thought I'd spend a fiver getting proper tracking.

Look what I got for my money!

Name? Time? Date? All too much to ask. :headbang:

You're kidding.....I could send you something better than that and only charge you half...

Does'nt matter, the horror stories I have seen have resulted in people losing entitlements to drive various vehicles and the lovely DVLA put the onus of responsiblity on you in so far that you have to prove you have passed the various tests and a photocopy of your licence before you send it away is not good enough.

Anyone get their pass certificate back when changing a provy licence for a full one?

You're lucky
I sent recorded change of ownership slip, recorded delivery , and according to "system was not delivered " fortunately it was and 2 weeks later got confirmation letter.
Apparently if you can prove you posted ie receipt or proof of posting legally you are deemed to have done all that is neccessary :?

I got draged into court for failing to notify change of keeper I sent it all off to DVLA but not recorded , two weeks after the document was sent my father passed away and the last thing I was thinking about was a letter from DVLA the dozzy t***s lost it and and I got a twelve month suspended sentence and fined £25 coz I refuesed to pay the £35 penalty when I did not receve a letter from them in comfirming the change as you can tell this really touches a nerve :headbang:
