I've bailed Russ, hope weather improves for those braver than me.
I'm planning to come over late morning when the rain's due to clear.

Unfortunately I now need to do a bit of work today, so won't make it over. Enjoy the meet for those who are there, shame about the weather.

Just got home after a 5am start for the boxing and slow cruise up to Duxford in the dark, grey drizzle. Good turnout and even managed to look around the museum a lot this year. Left early to hit the back roads and emerging sunshine and on the way out got stopped by the guy that's took most of the photos of my car when it was a press vehicle! Said he couldn't believe his eyes and how much he loved the car. Small world!

Anyway, good to briefly see everyone today. Hope you all enjoyed the show and Jan: your alarm stayed silent for the rest of the day.

Thanks to Russ for organising

I managed to meet a few people none of which, I think, where members of this forum

Finally arrived about 12:30, no space on the Forum site, so tried to put my car on the end. Received the wraith of an old boy as I was squeezed on the end and a bit too close to him, sorry!

Ended up Billy no mates :tumbleweed: :tumbleweed: parked on my own :-) On the plus side it's a great museum and watching the F109 take off and do a fly pass was worth the drive alone, just an awesome place.

Looking forward to the friendly atmosphere of the Silverstone Classic

Thanks Russ for organisation the event again. Weather was not as good, enjoyed meeting up with the members and having a good chat. Look forward to next year.

Thanks Russ

Sun managed to come out in the afternoon but it hammered it down on the way home, we all got split up as we were leaving but we managed to find Eddie :D don't know what happened to Mike as I'm sure you were in front of us as we left :?

Russ, cheers mate for organising another great day, even though the rain tried to spoil it for us we all had a great time

Anyone one from south who used the Dartford crossing don't forget to pay!

And for those who have recently purchased their car remember to enter the registration of their new car... not that anyone would be stupid enough to pay on their old car's reg..

Doh!

Nice day out, and even the weather wasn't too bad in the end. Managed to put the roof down on the back after saying bye to Stu and Mike at Tunbridge Wells

Got a nice smile from the girl in the E92 M3 that we saw on the M25 which made me :D

Did anyone see Bing though :?

Thanks for the reminder! I was wondering why there was no charge at the gates and would have completely forgotten!

I've just paid for two journeys. Wonder if they will credit my two journeys today or only one and my Romanian friends journey the other day :headbang:

Thanks to Russ for organising the meet. Nice to see some old faces again, and meet some new ones. Also got a bit of sunburn! Many thanks to Mac for sorting out my airbag light. Despite the rain in the morning, was a good turnout. 22 degrees with roof down on the last bit of journey home.
