Duxford Spring Car show 2014

Not sure when or if I can clean the breadvan in time for Duxford. Got soaked last night on way back from ETA and tomorrow's out as we [Mrs inkey$] have plans. May have to be a 6am Sunday morning effort or not bother and go proper vintage.

If you're going to go for proper vintage you might want to get some of this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370584567105

I though I was going to do it for you :(

I thought you were going to just bring a connector, and decided I didn't want to bring Alex's laptop and leave it in the car... Sorry :(

I'm only jesting but am bring the lot so we can do this.

I actually can't wait to wash mine for the first time tomorrow morning - and give it a good clean inside because it's a tad dusty...

I'm buying a new sponge and chamois leather specially

Are you getting the PVR recommended baby panda fur wash mitt and whale scrotum drying cloth?

If I was to use the PVR method I'd need to spend a huge amount on a DI vessel and associated sand, plus special soap - that will have to wait. I will be getting a nice fluffy drying towel though, and already have a new approved wash mitt - surprisingly just a Megs one. Best bit is not having to polish or wax the car at all... Except the side skirts which don't have weird Dutch witchcraft applied.

Good news Bing, you can come polish mine instead so you don't miss out on the fun of it all

We should compare notes. My ocelot polishing cloth is great
I think PVR got hold of a limited-edition cloth made of Unicorn tears....

The tracks of his tears on giving his baby away can still be seen in the dust behind the seats :x

Well, whenever he posted pictures of his Intravee installation there was a lot of dust visible - obviously he wouldn't let Mrs PVR sit in the car to do the dusting in case she scuffed the bolsters...

The engine bay was ok actually - the bonnet was always open with the c-tek on it, apparently he used to dust it with a detailing brush when on long, boring conference calls

I've not cleaned mine all year...and probably don't have time to before Sunday

We are still talking about knobs aren't we....
