Duxford Spring Car show 2014

Anyone travelling southbound? Am flying back on Friday/Saturday so am up for this. Do we pay up front or on the gate?
 
Markeg, pay on the gate. Im travelling from St Neots area, so if anyone is travelling from the West, im happy to meet up as the M11 meeting points are too far me.
 
As above, who is convoying from where? Around the M25 area I expect we'd join :)

Edit: Read thread, will join the convoy at the Junc 7 McDonalds
 
I was planning to bring the Z....but got the Exhaust Emissions light come on yesterday. Having it looked at tomorrow, but debating whether to bring it up now. (if it's just an O2 sensor) I might just do that.

If not, I'll tag along as a normal guest woots.

Is the z4 stand full already? Am I too late? Or can I just convoy and then park away from the stand...?
 
I text russ asking if he had any issue with our late sign up so I presume a response will be had soon enough

If I understand correctly entry is £7.50 cheaper if you take your Zed in :thumbsup:
 
Yep, think it's just £10. Different entrance to the commoners though :wink:

Update for people just enquiring.

You can only display your car on a designated stand, you CAN'T just turn up and park anywhere. Unless you go in the public car park.

With more people showing interest I will ring Duxford later and see if our pitch is going to be big enough.
I originally told them approx. 15 cars when I put the application in because there didn't seem much interest.

I'll report back later.

Yeah mate I figured if I wasn't able to make it to the stand I'd just park like a regular visitor...so it's no biggie if not just makes sense to save some money really, typical the first meet I do in ages is the weekend after I've put my car back to stock...oh well lol!! Should prob clean her this weekend...

Just had confirmation our pitch is big enough and we are next to the BMW car club who have the largest pitch, so if need be we can spill over into them :lol:

I don't know where abouts we are situated though, but parking marshals will direct people.
