just spotted this, I won't be there but if there is going to be a stand then is the forum banner required?

Third party liability insurance to the value of 5 million pound is needed to display banners or gazebo's, so that's out.

what?????????????

But what sort of premium would that require?

Sounds a scary number but the premium may be small.

When I went skiing a couple of weeks back my insurance included a personal liability cover of £2m for an £11 premium.

Bit of a strange rule, how much damage can a banner really cause!

Russ do you have details about what time we'd need to turn up in the morning?

So are we in? Do we have a place?

I've sent the application in today, just waiting to hear back and will let you all know as soon as I do.

Slowly attracting more people

Considering how many folk are in Essex, London & Herts there should be more on the list though :poke: :D

Glad to see numbers rising. Well done for organising Russ.

Can't see Marmite being finished by May! But great if it is!

Russ, Did you find out what time we'd need to get there in the morning to make it to the stand?

Cheers, Dan

If I remember from last year, I think it was from 10.30am. Also you don't go in the public car park, you have to follow the club stand signs which are further down the road from the museum but I will let everyone know before hand.

This could turn into Brads long awaited Marmite unveiling, if so could be lots more interest and you never know may attract some magazines/press.

I've already PM'd him about bringing it along :driving:

Yeah I know, it's just I know there were some earlier meets he was planning in going to but couldn't as the car wasn't finished. But looking at his progress thread looks promising for this one so more members may want to come along.

Just had confirmation and we are good to go

Gates open at 10am on the day, through Gate 1 and parking marshals will show your members to your pitches.

Lets hope the weather shines like it did last year.

Are there any more takers on this event??

Pay at the gate. which last year was further down the road from the normal visitors entrance, I assume will be the same this year.
There are normally signs out on the road telling exhibitors were to go.
