Hello,

Another new Z4 owner.

2003 2.5 E85 titan silber. Bought it a few weeks ago. Long story but to me it had to be a 6 cylinder BMW. The 2 seater and convertible are the fun options. Then there was only 1 option to me, the Z4.

17 years old, 196K (km's) so always something to work on, which I like. I want to get to know everything there is to know about this car. Because the interior was the baddest parts on my car (it was read leather completely worn out and already painted red again by some previous owner) I changed it, by buying a RHD interior en put it into my LHD and also changing only the leather parts of the doorpanels. I kept my original frame and used that as the base. The interior is black now. I like it.

The car is certainly not new. I also added some small missing parts. Now I am trying to fix the closing of the left window (little air leakage when driving with a closed roof), also removed the alpine radio for an original one, now working on blue tooth and finishing up the other black leather interior things (handbrake and gearknob).

Next thing i want to do is diagnose and coding. If I know what to buy best and understand how that works I want to change the light switch.

So far so good. The car drives great. I love it!

Welcome. Sounds like work is underway in improving your new Z4 already. Enjoy your new car.
Those wheels look good on it.

Hi and welcome.

Window should be easy to sort with a bit of adjustment.

Why do you want to change the LCM (Light Control Module) though?

Welcome to the forum, 17 years old and still a head turner, very few cars on the road today will achieve that
