Dust cap thieving scumbags

O...k.... you do know they're just pence worth of dust caps right?

Value doesn't matter. Its theft, simple as. ok, petty theft and probably doesn't mean they'll turn into career criminals, but its still theft in my book.

Pikey little shite's should keep their thieving mitts off other peoples property, simples, and not too much to ask is it?

I have lost count as to how many of mine over the years have been nicked.

3 years ago I bought a set of Richbrook ones http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Richbrook-Car-Van-Anti-Theft-Locking-Spinning-Valve-Tyre-Dust-Caps-Titanium-NEW-/350558017195?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item519ee2d6ab#ht_998wt_1161

So far the wee toe rags haven't managed to pinch any since, so well worth the money and they look good too :D

I had cheap plastic green ones nicked. They were green after my tyres were filled with nitrogen. I wasn't bothered, but did replace with green ones.

...and at the same time provided said thieving scum with a constant source of shiny dust caps
Damn didn't think of that! Too late to cancel the order as well. As they say, win some lose some!

Just catch them in the act, then sneak round the other side of the car, replacing them as they take them off. Continue until they realise.
Just for the sheer Benny Hill of it

Wipe them in Dog Poo. Got to think on their level. :ninja:
Just a bit sh1t when you come to check your tyre pressures tho :)

Get the wife to do it.

It doesn't matter about taking them off. you know the s**t is there, so that's ok. The joy is in the surprise they get! or am I getting this wrong?

With any luck they'll have nicked them and pocketed them before you get to check pressures 8)

Lol. Thanks for the suggestions. But I'm thinking something more sinister.
How big of a shock can you get from car batteries? I don't want it to be lethal, just something that'll make them pass out for a bit.

Car batteries are pretty heavy, you might want to be careful that there isn't any blunt force trauma.

lol it is annoying used to happen regularly to me a few years back. i caught a scrote in the act once. ran out to the car, grabbed him by the neck lifted him about a foot or two off the floor and pinned him against the wall. i snarled in his face "i catch you near my car again, i'll tear your effin head off" ..... he almost wet himself. never lost any since and it felt good to catch him in the act. he was only about 12 though  :D

haha!

I caught an 8 year old trying to set fire to my previous car before with a lighter an an aerosol. I told if I'd walk him to the police station nearby if I saw him lingering around cars again.
