Dumb C vs F question for climate control

So… my hunt for an e85 Z4 continues.

Found a possible one out of state (and somewhat close to Canada).

If the climate control temp range is in Celsius instead of Fahrenheit, what are the odds this is a grey market car brought in from Canada and is going to be a hassle to own in the US?

I tried various VIN decoders but only got Country of Manufacture, not where it was initially delivered.

Any input or advice for this hopeful Z4 owner?

We're generally a UK heavy group so we're probably thin on knowledge of US regs. However, I don't believe BMW distinguish between the US and Canada - in all the technical stuff I've seen it refers to North American cars (ie both countries) or European cars, and RHD or LHD cars.

The biggest differences I know about that the American market mandates are secondary air pumps (by the era of the N52 that seems a universal thing) and the peculiar OBD reading thing some states do (which, from an engineering perspective, would be easiest just put into everything.)

I’ve owned a Canadian car in the US and it was no different, other than metric and French
