Duct tape intake boot??

Got a hole in my intake boot as you can see in the pic below. My question is, can I just put electrical tape or duct tape on this as temporary measure until I can get it replaced? Or is there no point doing this and just run it a bit before replacing? Thank you in advance.

Well about 6 months after buying my Z I discovered mine was leaking and after investigation I found this....

And it ended up like this.

So as temporary measure, yes, permanent ummmm, sup to you!

Temp fix is better than being left open but needs replaced Defoe wthevcar throws codes

For a temp repair? Yes. But these intake pipes are cheap so replace it when you can.
