Completely random topic, I know, but...
I am looking to replace my electric cooker with a dual fuel (gas hob, electric oven) version, but it seems to be a minefield trying to pick one.
I was looking for something like this:
http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/cannon-harrogate-c60dhsf-dual-fuel-cooker-03097462-pdt.html
... but when I search for reviews it seems every review of any brand is always negative. I guess they would be, as who would really spend the time raving about an oven on a review site, it's just the people who have problems that do.
Anyway, does anyone have any experience of the good, the bad and the ugly in this field, as I have no idea at all.
The prerequisites (if possible) are:
A lid, so it can be used as a work surface when the lid is closed
The knobs preferably will be pointing outward rather than upward.... hopefully they wouldnt get as mucky as the current ones that point straight up (who knows though!)
Any opinions would be much appreciated

They are a little bit more expensive than your usual high street brands but shopping around online will usually get a good deal on them.
