Trying to sort out insurance for my daily and the ZED and wondered if anyone has any recommendations
 
Try Chris Knott - They Insure My van and Z4C

Also try Classicline - They insure my Z4MC on a classic policy requiring no NCB.

We have 3 with Admiral, good discounts on the 2nd and 3rd cars. Just make sure you play them off at renewal or they will have your pants down.
 
I had Admiral multi-car last year, got a good price but renewal price went up quite a bit. Renewed with Sheilas Wheels (interestingly one policy is ESure and one is Sheilas Wheels).
 
BMW Car Club insurance. Cheaper than Admiral for me, plus have way better concept of dealing with customers than Admiral does.
 
Surprised by this I've never been able to get a competitive quote through the above mentioned multicar providers. Always found it cheaper with the daily with somebody like Tesco & the Z with somebody like Adrian Flux separately through the usual comparison websites. Will try again next time.
 
Aviva for us, used to be Admiral.

I keep finding that the most competitive changes quite a lot and sometimes one who was very good is now very bad. They must alter who they're targeting as for example I can't even get a number out of AXA online and we're in our 30s with long records, no points or accidents.

As for Chris Knott, well they seem averse to anything that's not a mobility scooter left in the garage for 364 days of the year! :rofl:
 
Try Tesco, they will fully take into account your no claims discount, others (including specialist insurance companies) say they will mirror your policy, however in practice I found that they were all unable to do this fully. I have a A5 as a daily driver and as all my no claims was being used on my Z, Tesco's were the only ones to give me a reasonable price.
 
I have 5 cars with Admiral and never accept the renewal figure. A phone call always reduces it to a sensible amount and I have never had reason to complain about them. Insurance companies love more than one car and family policies, the claims stats massively reduce.
 
Hastings for me, mirrored by no claims from my daily driver Saab 9-5 2.3t, £35 extra on the monthly payments for the Z4 Coupe

OK so I ended up using Classicline for the Zed requiring no NCB and for £20 extra got it insured with an agreed value, subject to sending 6 current photos. Well worth it in my opinion
 
I Have used AXA insurance for the last couple of years , they have no problems mirroring your no claims. You have to phone them though the internet quote system is not set up for this. However the people on the phone were very helpful. Been the cheapest so far.
