Iv read a bit about these I was just wondering if anyone on the form uses them ?
If so what did you go for ?
How did you find it first time ?
Pics :D

I have a Porter Cable (bought from the US).

Works great, can not beat it as you can not do the same manually.

I have a Kestrel Das6 dual action. First used it on my S2000 which was soft paint. The car was basically faded to pink on some panels and I'd negotiated some money off for a respray. However, after some advice invested the money in the polisher and all the kit. It came up bright red, removing all the swirls and all minor scratches. Looked awesome.

I then used it on my Z4M over the winter. The Interlagos paint was almost matt in colour, now you can clearly see the metalic flake and most swirls\scratches have gone. However, I'll warn you now, it took over 20 hours to do start to finish!!

Dual Actions are fairly safe as long as you start with the least aggressive polish\compounds and pads.

Very satisfying!!!

I did a video (on YouTube) as a noddy guide for polishing. I'll go and find it...

I have the CleanYourCar DAS6 Pro which has been very easy to use and produced good results.
+1 use it all the time not just for paint correction but with a soft pad for a quick polish

wow that's some clean paint work!
Maybe I should look into one of these for my fleet. Is it easy to use just time consuming? How is it on the old back, I'm afraid I often get cases of old man back when trying to make cars shiny :|

See my YouTube video above for an idea of the time involved to do a reasonably proper job.

I don't find it hard on my back, it's more the temporary vibration white finger!

Also just realised the old salute you are doing to the German car there siforks. What must your neighbours think....
