DTC Warning light, no power

Recently bought a 2005 2lt Z4, had the MOT done the day i got it all it needed was a new break disc and pads as the previous ones had warn all the way down! it is overdue for a service! but after one week of owning it. as i was driving the DTC warning light came on and power was cut to less then 2k RPM, managed to drive home with the light on all the way and i think the engine warning light! next day started it fine no issues! but later that day while driving it after 15 mins, looking for a space in a car park the same issue happen, after returning to my car i got home with no issues. every time i drive it now it seems to happen, turning the car off and starting again seems to get the car going again.

any ideas what this could be?

Hi c12ddk, welcome to the forum.

Have a search on here - there have been a couple similar issues recently - one posted earlier today IIRC. Again, work had been done around the front wheel, which makes me think that something's been knocked, a sensor perhaps.

An intro in the newbies section would go down well... with pics or you'll get the stick :poke:
