DTC DSC light issue

Hey guys

Can I just get some, while driving recently, out of nowhere these two lights started popping up:

It's something to do with the DTC and DSC not on.

Can you tell me from experience, is the an issue or how can I stop them from coming on.

I have the same issue. Have a look at this thread:

Took it to the dealers and the error codes showed a brake pressure sensor (you can see two on the brake master cylinder). Had both changed and a brake fluid change at the same time and now all OK. Several others on the Forum have reported the same problem and solution.

Could be a sensor. x3 lights may point to the expensive ABS module. I got my self a code reader for £40 from china ..couple of weeks to deliver. Worth every penny.

.....but this is just the 2 lights - lets not frighten the guy. Code read at the dealers will identify and then decision time.

Thanks a lot.....I was sh*tting myself worried it was going to cost a fortune to fix it but I was researching it and it seems to be quite a common problem so I'm just going to take it to the dealer and let them run the code reader on it....

I'll let you know how it gets on.

I got charged £80 by my local dealer for a code read of the problem although the lights had gone of when I took it in. They are back on again now so will get the pressure sensors changed. First real problem in 10 years of ownership so can't really complain
