Ok, so I'm slowly getting used to the DSP settings in my new zed. My last zed had 3 DSP pre-sets.
The DSP settings have been set using this thread. However, I'm still struggling to get the right level of bass for my demanding house music. My old stereo with DSP but no Nav had no problem finding a setting that worked well with most of my music.
Has anyone else got anything to add over and above this thread?
I think the issue is either:
1. Lack of a high pass filter (i.e. takes the sub 80hz drone away, but gives stomping bass over 80hz)
2. The frequency hump at around 50hz
Thinking about it, options 1 and 2 are roughly the same. I find I'm constantly on the DSP settings or Tone settings to compensate for different tracks to get optimum setting.
Anyone out there got a solution?
