this suffers from overheating-i opened it up to investigate using freezer spray and found that a particular component was overheating. if you can work out a way to cool it you should have a very cheap working amp!

i dont have the skills to fix it so i just bought another one for a hefty price.

Will you ship to the US? Im trying to verify if it will fit mine, someone stole the AMP before I bought the car so I have nothing to go on. Thanks

someone must want this. i saw someone on here just attached a couple of PC fans to it to keep it a bit cool and it was working fine.
 
I havent had choonz in my zed for a while now. Suspect i have same prob but need to dig around.
Pics would be handy of that component...

I could take them if I could remember which one it was, but I can’t unfortutbely remember. Surely it’s worth a punt at this price ?
 
Trouble is, it's a bargain IF it can be fixed easily, otherwise it's an expensive paper weight that'll be equally as hard to sell on and most likely end up in the bin :(

And that's a very big IF :rofl:

Yep it works before it over heats for ages. It only stops working if you turn the car off and turn it back on without waiting for it to cool down, if that makes sense.

At that price it must be worth a go. Working ones go for 250+
 
Ok I'll take it. I think mine has water damage, but not 100% sure whether its that or a head unit issue. This will at least help diagnose the problem. PM me you paypal details.
