DSP and bluetooth?

Hi,
anyone have the answer to how you setup bluetooth on a car with DSP?
I have tried to use the guides with the ulf going into the head unit but it just gives really really quiet voice output which is near impossible to hear. I believe you are meant to tap the dsp amp for tel out, mute and two inputs from the ulf but i've tried many combinations and did at one point have a lovely loud output from the ulf but the radio wouldn't work as i assume the mute never came off? Anyone got the official answer?
As an aside my dsp amp doesn't use a coxial, it uses the 6 pin cable that none dsp uses - the coxial ports are there but not connected.

I believe you are correct, though there is still one connection to the radio. There's a lot of different variants of telematics units, check the WDS for specifics of your setup. Available online at bmw-planet.com. The navigation uses Java, which is disabled on many browsers, you may need to enable it to use the WDS.

No coax is a bit odd, any chance a previous owner altered things? It is only used for the CD changer, so if you do not have one, it wouldn't matter anyway.

thanks for the reply,
I did have a look at the wds but not perfect as I think that's factory not retrofit?
The lack of a co-ax is odd I agree but I don't know how the previous owner could alter it? it came with dsp as standard but uses the 6 wire plug setup. All very strange...
