DSP Amp - Lear Redstar - & matching Navigation Professional CD Head Unit

Originally fitted in a 2007 Z4M and purchased from another member for my 2004 3.0i
Perfect working order. It’s non coaxial and will work perfectly without modification in an early car which is wired for coaxial - as the case with my Z. It has the upgraded software too, great sound.
Selling as a pair as I know there are no issues with compatibility between the head unit and amp and it offers full DSP control.
Only selling as I’ve reverted to my other amp which matches to the non sat nav head unit I’m now using.
£400 inc UK p&p

Hi, is this plug and play with no coding needed, please?
Hi it’s only plug and play if your car is already wired for a DSP amp and you are perhaps looking to replace the existing amp because it’s broken or water damaged. If that’s the case no coding needed.

Hmm not sure this will work. I have the 10 speaker system but its not the DSP system, the one below.

Sadly I don’t think it will work either, but I’m not familiar with the 10 speaker, non DSP setup. Pretty sure it wouldn’t be plug and play anyway.

Hi there,

I've seen your ad on eBay too, but joined the forum [which I needed to do anyway, tbh] so that I could speak to you here first.

I'll take them, if ithey will work in my 2003 3.0i which has a Redstar-DSP Lear 65126963304 unit in it,

Ideally, I'd bring the car over and we fit it, to check... as I know there are a lot of reports of incorrect sound outputs from using parts not listed under realoem.com as compatible to my car...

Perhaps you'd let me know what options are available from your perspective, and we'll do the deal.

Many thanks,

James

Hi James,

Many thanks your message... and well done joining the forum. It's an absolute mine of information and loads of friendly helpful members
I'll send you a PM, but think you have to make three posts on the forum before you can PM. Suggest a couple of messages here and we will soon be there :) I'm down in Cornwall and my Z is 2004 3.0i. It worked perfectly in mine so should be okay, but it would be helpful to check a few existing installation details with you.
PM on way
Cheers
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for getting back to me! ... and so quickly. I'll do as you suggest and post a couple more times and wait for your pm.

James

Re the forum, I've only recently bought my Z4, which wasn't intended to become my daily driver, but somehow it's become the car I want to drive the most! Hence why I want to fix the amp :) ... but prior to purchase, I read a lot of posts on here and yes, I can see, it's a great community! Lots of helpful tips, advice and support! I'm glad to be onboard 👍

I plan to provide an outcome on how I get on with this amp, as I'm sure a lot of people would love to know what options have proven to work in various cars...
