Once again my belief that you shouldn't run a BMW without a warranty has borne fruit.

Had 2 sets of warning lights come on. The DSC warning lights duo and the coolant light. Diagnosis, replace sensors and leaking water pump. Total cost over £1100! :o Or with my warranty, just the £100 excess please.

Not bad. But add in the replacement of the radiator at the back end of last year and I have saved 5 or 6 years of warranty premiums in less than one warranty year! 8)

All depends, I've had mine 3 years next month, would have cost me over £3,600 in warranty and I've had no issues.

It's insurance at the end of the day, "you pays your money and takes your choice" as they say.

£3600! Blooming Nora. Which Z have you got? Had mine for 3 years as well. First year under dealer warranty, premiums for year 2 and year 3 combined about £600. In year 2 had other work done including replacing bushes and springs.
