I had the DSC light + Tire Pressure waring lights on my E86 Z4MC - the Diagnostics software told me it was a CAN failure to comunicate with the Sensor Cluster (Under the Drivers seat).
The one I removed said 'SensorCluster 03' on it and was in a plastic housing. I tried a few used ones that looked the same off eBay that also said SensorCluster 03 but the connectors were slightly different even if the PCB inside was the same. Then I tried this one 'Sensor Cluster 01' that is also off a BMW Mini and it worked!
Result - DSC Lights all off and MOT passed!
