So if anyone in the future finds this thread - you can swap your pump from a latter 3 series as long as the pump pattern is identical. 6790146 worked for me - should work for you too.

Sorry, last question, when you say pump pattern, are you meaning the pipe inputs and labelling?

I just meant visually it looks identical I think... It was a while ago now

I do remember the z4 ones were so expensive but the 3 series ones were very cheap.
