DSC light coming on 1st & 2nd Gear

Hi All
I have a 2008 E86 3.0si Coupe. I've just noted the DSC (traction control) light is coming on in 1st and 2nd gear. It happens sometimes when i'm turning a corner or can be when driving in a straight line. Anyone know what could be causing this? The car hesitates and doesn't speed up as quickly. I'm suspecting clutch slipping but not sure if anyone else had experience of this. Theres approx 126k miles on the clock. Servicing all done by BMW

I had a similar issue and was down to worn shocks, essentially the tyres weren't in contact with the road correctly. This was only evident on bumpy roads though.
Could be a dodgy wheel sensor too.

The hesitation is the traction control working, unlikely to be the clutch.

I would vote for the shocks.
If it were the sensor I'd think it more likely to happen in any gear.

The key question is does it only do it when accelerating or at other times as well? I would suspect steering angle sensor or YAW / Lateral acceleration sensor if it's the latter.

This is exactly what's happening on my Coupe! Thank you for all those suggestions, hopefully it's just a sensor and easily (ish) to replace.
