Dsc issue BMW E89 Z4 2020

Hello,
Last month I bought a e89 Z4 with the m pack, from ‘16. Took it for my first highway ride today. In a left hand corner on a slip road, the dsc light flickered, and it felt like the car tried to change its direction quite violently through short jabs on the brakes, though I wasn’t braking. Result was a bit disconcerting. I did however engage sport mode whilst cornering. Is this normal for the car to behave this way?
 
Sounds like you overpowered the chassis and limited recovery took place..typical in sports+ mode

Check error codes for any faults

Having incorrect front /rear tyre ratios will cause such problems also as DSC can’t cope with them…on the E90/E89
 
If you take a 90 turn fast traction kicks in.
Stick it in sport+ if you want very limited assist.
Can be unnerving if you go for a sharp turn when pulling out from a junction due to the big difference in wheel spin and engine powers down.
Another might be worn out shocks. My cars were gone at 50k miles.
