Mrs T-B had a change of heart and said she wanted her own nice daily, didn’t want to be responsible for a joint car and be worried about kerbing alloys or scratching bumpers and having to ‘report back’ :rofl: … wants to live ‘care-free’ so to speak

So, randomly, we were looking at auto trader last night when this popped up 10 mins down the road;

It was very well priced, so we viewed this morning and managed to chip off another £500. It’s going to need some significant detailing work, but 1 owner from new, full BMWSH, all the toys and a punchy 190bhp euro 6 make this frugal and enough fun for her.

So far all I’ve done is a partial decontamination to remove a lot of tree sap, much work to do but a little gem under the marks.

Got to say, drives brilliantly for a diesel :thumbsup:

She’s very happy… and that’s all that matters :)

Now then, what am I going to buy next :tumbleweed:

Is that the 220d? Vall had two of those and loved them.
Only the arrival of the mutts that made her change.

In fact, did it come with the full wind deflector that fills in over the back seats?
If not, I think we still have one in the loft.

Yes 220d Sport, has heated leather, front and rear PDC, a decent Harmon kardon sound system, iDRIVE, satnav, detachable tow bar for a bike rack and the windbreak was included. It’s not a sports car, but it’s decent fun and has plenty of torque :thumbsup:

Didn't take long Martin! Your bank must think you are money laundering with the speed money goes in and out! :D

Not my favourite but they do look OK with the roof down IMO. Just glad the wife is happy; it's what matters! :thumbsup:

Yes it’s not the last word in dynamics, but it’s a world apart from her Kia Rio that’s she’s been driving for the last 7 years :cry:

Cabin feels premium, it’s refined and the looks are probably a bit understated

Oh, so reliable as long as you’re serviced regularly at great expense
Oh I dunno; a couple of pints and a take away usually does the trick! :wink:
