Drying out...

We had some snow here in norwich, which I greatly enjoyed in a large open car park. Unfortunately I managed to leave the passenger window open slightly so woke up to a bit of a moist car.

I don't have a garage so can't leave any windows open (it's still snowing) but have got a lot of the water out with microfibres. Any suggestions on how to get the carpet dry? I'm not keen on leaving any heaters on the car. And leaving the engine running could get expensive!

Oops, sorry, I thought this was going to be a Gazza thread!

Get a dehumidifier - one of the cheap shops like B&M or Home & Bargain etc. usually cost around £1.50. I use them when leaving the car off the road in winter.

No easy way to dry wet carpets, except removing them or using a fan heater or maybe trying a vax or bissell carpet cleaner that wets and drys the carpet.

I found a litre of water behind the passenger seat of my coupe, I sucked alot of it up with a karcher wet dry vac.... I'll be removing all the carpets to clean them soon anyway so no matter.
