Drying carpet :(

Honestly I haven't researched it fully. Its in storage. Its Just a thought exercise. Last fall my yaw sensor was acting up. The foam was damp. I took the sensor apart and dried it. I sealed it with dielectric grease and painted the contact terminals with deoxit. It seemed to fix the issue. However the foam is a sponge and holds any moisture that may get down there. Obviously avoiding getting the water down there is primary but it seems to happen to alot of us,

Fair point. Not sure it’s doable though. Another good trick for modules under the carpet is to put them in poly bags with a sachet of silica gel. But make sure you get a good metal contact through holes where mounting studs go through as some modules seem to earth through them.
