Well, you could call her and simply apologise for being a piss-head, have a laugh about it, and then leave it as you'll catch up at work in the morning. Yep, definitely this. Even phoning will be a bad idea, she's unlikely to answer it, seeing who it is phoning, then he either keeps trying or has to send another text to say he was only phoning to apologise. And all of this after already telling her he'll leave her alone from now on.

Best just to leave it and move on. Stop tormenting yourself JE, in the nicest way possible it seems that this girl isn't interested. Maybe she'll decide that she is one day, but the best thing to do is leave her to come to that conclusion herself. You can't force her to see it your way, all you're doing is pushing her further away. She knows your feelings and she doesn't need to be reminded at the moment.
