drove my first //M roadster and now real search is on!

Not really a fan of cf on the steering wheel personally, looks too shiny. It won't match your cf leather at all, if that's what you're thinking ?

There's no prices on that page mate - have a chat with marksdesigns maybe ? His company does this stuff and he's done a great job on his car.

This one has just popped up - silver grey with black leather but, at the asking price, you could afford to get the seats retrimmed in red leather

Thanks perry just saw it myself sounds like a contender to me! Well priced and could potentially get an imola one at a later date.
Thanks for all the good lucks I'll sort one soon. :)

I'm sure you'll have a great and frustrating time searching for your future ///MR, you'll know when you see the right one :driving:

That's a really, really good price :o

I don't know if checkpoint and Newhall are the same company, but the Imola red one is the same car. Ex press car, new engine at 30K fitted by BMW from recipes.

thank you mark I thought it must be although it seems to look better on the checkpoint photos!!

I had an HPI on the car and it all checks out, Germany registered and then brought over and sold to new hall cars who sold it on. The bill for the engine swap included all the inspection etc before and was something like £12k  :o :o :o  . The service book has a stamp 1k appart which is said to be the running in inspection so I suspect it is kosha, but I just could not entertain a press car.

Dealer was honest about these points when I started asking for copies of the service book, but there is no mention of this in the advert/ other correspondence. Apparently press cars are all ok, but perhaps it is reading evo or watching top gear has kind of tainted that in my mind.

I walked away.
